With its beautiful mother-of-pearl surface and light rose colors, pink abalone symbolize love, harmony, and emotional healing. Also known as ear shells, pink abalone are native to the West Coast and typically contain small breathing holes on their upper surface.

Similar to green abalone but smaller in size, pink abalone is treasured for its beautiful rose hues, which are unique to each shell. Pink abalone is also used in sage smudge rituals to bring the element of water into the smudge ritual. It is rarer to find than green or red abalone.
